About the company
For a project at our client, a leading bank in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Business Analyst. In this project you will be engaged in building a new data platform for risk and finance reporting. The platform is being developed as part of a multi-year program that focuses on the structural renewal of the risk and finance data and reporting infrastructure.
Job description
Business Analyst with knowledge of techniques such as Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, SQL etc.
Responsibilities
- Collect and document overarching requirements for new requests that have a broad effect on Finance and Internal Reporting domains.
- Perform impact assessments to determine the impact of new requests on the current data warehouse architecture.
- Designing solutions for new requests.
- Take a leadership role in managing and facilitating collaboration among all relevant stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
- Support departmental and tribal level decision making with solution results.
- Translate high-level solutions into business requirements, data models and designs for the data warehouse system.
Qualifications
- Previous involvement in the financial sector, with a specific focus on the banking sector;
- Skills and background in finance and risk;
- Expertise in BI, DataWarehousing, DataModeling (including DataVault and dimensional approaches),SQL, Informatica Powercenter and/or SAP Hana;
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with business analysis methods and industry best practices;
- Skill in financial reporting processes.
