Job description
As Senior Compliance Officer, you will work independently and report directly to the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring compliance strategies and policies to ensure that the company complies with applicable laws and regulations. In addition, you will serve as an advisor to the management team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and policies;
- Report events, incidents and unusual transactions;
- Advise on the implementation of laws and regulations, policies and ways to improve processes and procedures;
- Contribute to correct implementation of transaction monitoring;
- Perform compliance monitoring and reporting activities;
- Lead and assist with the external compliance audit;
- Function as an advisor to the management team.
Qualifications
- Completed education at the WO level, preferably in Law,Economics or similar;
- More than 5 years of experience in a compliance leadership role;
- Experience developing and implementing compliance strategies and policies;
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
- Fluent in Dutch and English;
- Demonstrated experience advising management team.
