Our client is an international organization and one of the leading companies in its sector. They are based in the Utrecht area and have multiple digital brands and products. These brands and products receive a lot of sensitive data that needs to be secured and processed in a safe way. They are currently building a team of Domain Architects to help develop these domains where you will be responsible for domain security.
Job description
As a Security Domain Architect, you will be part of the Architecture team (reporting to the Head of Architecture) within the Technology business unit. You will work closely with security operations, partners, privacy officer, partner management and others. We are looking for a Security Domain Architect with deep experience in infrastructure, architecture and cloud-based systems, who was adept at building digital fortifications. You have expertise in security measures such as Firewalls, Endpoint protection, Network segregation and SIEM were critical to us. Also, you are familiar with fully automated deployments and seamlessly integrating security into CI/CD processes. You are key to strengthening digital security and protecting business sensitive data.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Defining and implementing security policies;
- Designing the security architecture and strategy;
- Continuously monitor and improve technology security;
- Embed security aspects into cloud & infra architecture and data architecture.
- Proactively stay abreast of the latest discovered threats, their potential impact on the organization and immediate solutions;
- Defining and embedding "security by design" practices in the organization.
- Improve existing security controls;
- In case of incidents, lead the security operations team in mitigation and resolution.
- Functional leadership ofSecurity and Risk Operations management.
Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure architecture and cloud-based architectures;
- Expertise in security measures such as firewall, endpoint protection, network segregation,SIEM, etc;
- Experience with cloud security best practices and knowledge of advanced security and control mechanisms for cloud platforms and their integration into diverse deployments;
- Understanding security implications and tooling for monitoring;
- Broad understanding of security aspects in public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and Google;
- Experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle and DevSecOps implementation;
- Experience in designing security in a multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environment;
- Experience working with fully automated implementations and CI/CD processes;
- Experience working in an Agile environment;
- Experience with vulnerability management, handling audit processes, risk assessment methodologies, fit-gap analysis, evaluating compliance policies and procedures;
- Knowledge of key application security concepts such as CWE-25 and OWASP Top10;
- Able to communicate with various stakeholders, from senior management to development teams.
