Our client is a financial, administrative and international business services firm advising local businesses and international clients. As a Trust company, they provide corporate, compliance and risk services, legal support, tax returns and full administrative and accounting support.
Job description
As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will work under supervision and report to the Board of Directors. You will support the creation, issuance, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure the company complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support timely reporting of events, incidents and unusual transactions;
- Assist in completing questionnaires for De Nederlandsche Bank;
- Support individual and group training for employees to increase compliance awareness;
- Contribute to correct implementation of transaction monitoring;
- Support compliance monitoring and reporting activities and assist with external compliance audit.
Qualifications
- Completed college-level education, preferably in Law, Economics or similar;
- 1-2 years of experience in a relevant position is a plus;
- Willingness to learn to write and implement policies and procedures;
- Good communication skills, both oral and written;
- Fluent in Dutch and English;
- Motivated to learn and work under supervision;
- Affinity with compliance and risk management;
