As a data analyst within the Data Analytics & Research team, you will work together with a team of data analysts, web analysts and researchers. Together you analyze and interpret data to create insights and value.
Job description
In the Data Analyst position, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from various sources. You do targeted analysis and translate findings into practical advice to support organizational decision making. You will work closely with various disciplines, including product owners, business analysts and developers, to share and implement insights. This role focuses on optimizing digital accounts and developing features to make these accounts easier and more secure to manage.
Responsibilities
- Proactively contribute to improving the user experience of digital video services;
- Translate business needs into effective analysis and concrete recommendations;
- Work with various data streams and ensure the transfer of data from one point to another;
- Collaborate with data engineers to make data accessible using tools such as SQL,Snowflake and DBT;
- Looking at the data process from a technical perspective and making improvements, from loading data to performing analysis;
- Translate the insights gained into concrete advice for various teams, including product owners, business analysts and developers.
Qualifications
- At least a college degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Science or other relevant field of study;
- Demonstrated affinity for software and/or data engineering;
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in a relevant Data Analyst position or demonstrated competence in this area;
- Advanced knowledge and experience with (MS) SQL / Snowflake is a requirement;
- Experience with Data Built Tool (DBT) is a plus;
- Strong team spirit: you have the ability to connect different departments;
- Proactive, curious and determined attitude;
- Results-oriented: you are able to work effectively toward goals and set priorities in an Agile team;
- Passion for customer focus:you think and act from the customer experience;
- Excellent language skills in both Dutch and English.
